Sheikh Maher Hammoud, the Imam of Sidon’s the Al-Quds Mosque, said Sunday that Saudi women understood their rights and the true values of Islam better than the most brilliant religious scholars [Wahhabi's Verdicts].
“It is our regret that some women in Saudi Arabia are better able to understand their rights and the true values of Islam than the most brilliant religious scholars who claim to know right and wrong,” said Hammoud.
He claimed these women were able to intuitively know that banning driving cannot be an Islamic verdict as it contradicts basic human rights.
